John Barrowman, Britain's most successful - and comfortably Britain's best - all-round entertainer releases his best of collection this September and will be back with a brand new UK Tour including a show at London’s Palladium for October/November this year. John Barrowman is easily one of the most familiar faces on British television and the West End stage. Best known for playing Captain Jack Harkness in the BBC series’ Torchwood and Doctor Who, he has also been a judge on the award-winning BBC1 entertainment shows How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?, Any Dream Will Do and I’d Do Anything.
This month his own primetime Saturday night TV extravaganza, Tonight's The Night returned for a third series along with Torchwood: Miracle Day on BBC1 and the Starz network in the USA.
The Best of John Barrowman features songs from all his albums Another Side (2007), Music Music Music (2008) and John Barrowman (2010) plus two brand new tracks. The new record is to be released in September just before he goes on tour. John says:
“Touring round the country doing live performances for all my fans has to be one of my favourite times of the year. I love the thrill of a live performance, the excitement of singing some new and fantastic music. I can’t wait to see you.”
