Confirm two special homecoming shows at Liverpool’s O2 Academy
Firmly established as one of the country’s most loved live bands, The Wombats expand their hectic tour schedule with the addition of two very special homecoming shows at Liverpool’s O2 Academy on December 8th and 9th.

Tickets for the shows go on sale from 9am on Friday July 8th at a price of £17.50 They’re available online at www.gigsandtours.com, the credit card hotline on 0844 811 0051 or from the venue’s box office on 0844 477 2000.

The band’s summer festival schedule has already included Glastonbury, Radio 1’s Big Weekend and Rockness, and continues with a sold-out Lovebox headline date, a headline performance at Wakestock and two sets at the V Festival. They will then commence their own previously announced headline tour in September:

2011 has already seen The Wombats make huge strides forward with the release of their second album ‘The Wombats proudly present… This Modern Glitch’ which peaked at #3 and includes four of their most popular singles to date with ‘Tokyo (Vampires and Wolves)’, ‘Jump Into The Fog’, ‘Anti-D’ and ‘Techno Fan’.
