Fasten Your Seatbelts... Global Internet Sensations Fascinating Aïda Are Flying In To London's West End With CHEAP FLIGHTS!

Fasten your seatbelts... global internet sensations
Fascinating Aïda

are flying in for their first West End season since 2003!
Britain's best loved comedy cabaret trio, Fascinating Aïda are to play their first West End season since 2003 when their acclaimed Fascinating Aïda Cheap Flights show lands at Charing Cross Theatre for a five-week season from Monday 5th December - Saturday 7th January.

Press night is Wednesday 7th December at 7.30pm

Captain Dillie Keane, navigator Adele Anderson and their new flight attendant Sarah-Louise Young look forward to a long haul in the West End following their acclaimed, 100% sold-out success at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where they received a clutch of four and five star reviews and performed on BBC 2’s The Review Show.

With a 50-date sold out UK tour as well, the ladies are considering 2011 as perhaps their finest ever vintage!

Legends on the UK cabaret scene for 28 years, Fascinating Aïda have recently become a global internet sensation with more than seven million YouTube hits for their anthem to budget travel, ‘Cheap Flights’. The video has now been watch by literally millions of people worldwide, has graced the home-page of a certain Irish discount airline's website, been Tweeted by The Economist as a method of cheering-up the nation and has been described as "very clever and very funny" by the editors at Travel Weekly, the national newspaper of the travel industry... And so they have named their new show after this scurrilous expose of the cheap flights industry!

Fascinating Aïda Cheap Flights includes several numbers hot off the press plus a few old favourites, including 'The Dogging Song', a fond homage to the joys of al fresco sex described last year by The Times as "…the dirtiest & funniest song of the century so far".

Fascinating Aïda was founded in March 1983 by Dillie Keane, along with Marilyn Cutts and Lizzie Richardson. Adele Anderson joined in 1984 and along with Dillie Keane has been the longest serving member. The trio started performing in a West End wine bar, but they soon caught the media attention, and performed on TV for the first time in July 1983. Over the years, they have earned three Laurence Olivier Awards nominations for Best Entertainment and three New York Drama Desk nominations. They also earned a Perrier Comedy Award nomination.

Fascinating Aïda Cheap Flights is produced by Steven M Levy, Sean Sweeney by special arrangement with John Mackay and David Johnson
