RISE TO REMAIN To Release New Single 'This Day Is Mine'

RISE TO REMAIN
‘This Day Is Mine’

19th December
Ever changing and ever evolving, Rise To Remain announce a brand new single entitled ‘This Day Is Mine’  to be released on 19th December, from their debut album ‘City Of Vultures’ .

Dropping slap bang in the middle of the band’s first UK headline tour, ‘This Day Is Mine’ is another stone-cold classic from one of the most talked-about new bands in Britain. Blasting out huge riffs, virtuoso guitar playing, a ten-ton hammer rhythm section and soaring, singalong vocals, this is the sound of the Best New Band in Britain staking their claim to the Metal throne in style.

With a fast-expanding live following and an ever-growing army of Facebook followers, Rise To Remain have been stealing shows and turning heads wherever they go. A blazing performance at Download in June kicked off a summer of gigs, including shows around Europe which culminated with a jaw-dropping turn at Sonisphere UK, where hundreds of people crowded around outside the packed tent desperate to get in as the band turned in a career-high performance.
Kerrang summed it up in their 4/5 review;  “The fact that Rise To Remain can inspire such anticipation for their arrival before they’ve released their debut album is testament that British metal is in its ascendancy. The crowd go nuts.”
And now, with The Observer hailing them as one of the summer’s ‘Hottest New Talents’,  Radio 1 giving them daytime radio play and the rock press championing them,  Rise To Remain are on the cusp of great things, ready to explode with the release of ‘City Of Vultures’.
Early reviews have been glowing in their praise with Metal Hammer exclaiming, “We’re not sure who’s more excited about this album; us or the band. You’re gonna love it!”, Front awarding it 5/5 and Big Cheese stating, “A bruising metal epic from start to finish, the Rise To Remain album drops next month and it’s a beast!”
Kerrang have just thrust lead singer Austin Dickinson into their Greatest Living Rock Stars issue claiming; “He is emerging as a frankly astonishing frontman. Austin’s commanding vocals and ability to sweep an audience into his metallic world helped propel his band to being named Best British Newcomer at the 2010 Kerrang Awards. Recent performances have seen them debut songs from their forthcoming album ‘City Of Vultures’ indicating that the best is definitely still to come.”

The band have just unveiled their brand new website where amongst many other things, fans can stream excerpts from all the songs on the album alongside the full lyrics.
