Dracula: Sex, Sucking and Stardom - Hen & Chickens Theatre

Last Chance Saloon presents:
Dracula: Sex, Sucking and Stardom
A slapstick comedy based on the Bram Stoker novel

Bram Stoker’s most famous tale gets an infusion of music, naughtiness and slapstick comedy as Jonathan Harker is tempted by the evil Count and a love of all things showbiz. But will he overcome temptation and stop Dracula’s vile plans to marry Lucy, take over the world and star in an Andrew Lloyd Webber musical? The stakes are high, but if they win the day they shall rid the world of a villain and be immortalised in drama by actors in north London…

Last Chance Saloon is a collaborative theatre company founded by Sam Dunham and Jack Faires. Their first project together, A Wet-Wipe, a Dog and a Caravan, was performed at the Union Theatre, the Landor Theatre and the Udderbelly at the 2009 Edinburgh Festival.

Sam Dunham has starred in numerous television commercials for Nintendo 3DS, Vigorsol Chewing Gum and KFC, and his television and film credits include Days That Shook the World for BBC4 and short films The Cleaner, Under The Cherry Tree and A Bad Word. His work in theatre includes Welsh tours for both Theatr Iolo and Theatre Gwent. He has also worked with Solent People’s Theatre, First Draft and for the BAC’s Oktoberfest.

Jack Faires recently played the part of Loti in Nigel Planer’s On The Ceiling at the Landor Theatre and has worked at the Nottingham Playhouse, most recently on The Island as part of the Nottingham European Arts & Theatre Festival. His film work includes Are You Ready? for DSA, John in I Love You and Christian in Haus of Willow.
