to perform on ITV's Dancing On Ice
Valentine's Special on Feb 12th
'Scala & Kolacny Brothers' the album, out now.

Following a phenomenal 2011, indie choir sensation Scala & Kolacny Bros. are set to continue their assault on primetime television with a performance of ‘With Or Without You’ live on the Valentine’s Special of ITV’s smash hit show Dancing On Ice.

2012 has started with a bang after a sold out show at Dublin’s prestigious Olympia Theatre and an appearance on the Late Late Show, as well as two syncs on iconic TV show The Simpsons (Fox) in the U.S. With further Irish dates scheduled in the spring, upcoming festival appearances and UK performances later in the year, Scala will go to Korea in June, before heading off for their second US tour later that month. Scala’s TV special and the trailer for Downton Abbey Series 2 with their version of ‘With Or Without You’ airs on PBS in December.

With worldwide sales of their debut album now well in the hundreds of thousands, Scala and Kolacny Bros. ended 2011 in style with stunning appearances on BBC Sports Personality Of The Year and The Royal Variety Show (including the coveted ‘Finale’ performance with Cee Lo Green and Leona Lewis). Their music also featured on the trailers for hit TV show Downton Abbey - most recently their version of ‘Last Christmas’ in the Christmas Special trailer - and on Desperate Housewives for the launch of the new series on E4.

Since first hitting the spotlight in the UK with their re-working of Radiohead’s ‘Creep’ used in the US trailer for ‘The Social Network’, Scala and Kolacny Brother’s upward trajectory has continued exponentially. On top of the unprecedented TV coverage in December, last year saw them headline stages at Coachella and SXSW, command the prestigious midday Sunday slot at Latitude Festival, shoot to the top of the Irish Charts after featuring on Downton Abbey and sell out performances all over the globe.
