DEVLIN announces November UK tour

DEVLIN

ANNOUNCES NOVEMBER TOUR

New single ‘(All Along The) Watchtower’ (feat. Ed Sheeran) released 19th August, from the forthcoming second album ‘A Moving Picture’, out 29th October.

“One of the few MCs daring to say something different” – Dazed & Confused

Monday 16th July - Dagenham born rapper Devlin returns this November with a four date UK tour, taking in Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and London. Introducing himself to the UK at large with his gold selling debut album ‘Bud, Sweat and Beers’ in October 2010, the album spawned two hit singles (Brainwashed, Runaway) and propelled this hard-hitting, straight-talking artist to the forefront of young British rappers.

His acerbic verse is at the forefront of ‘(All Along The) Watchtower’, a colossal rock track produced by Labrinth and featuring Ed Sheeran singing the chorus of Bob Dylan’s ‘All Along The Watchtower’ at its core. The video features appearances by Jaime Winstone (Made in Dagenham/Kidulthood), Neil Maskell (Nil By Mouth/Atonement), Tilly Vosburgh (Vera Drake/Awakening), and George Russo (Turnout/Tony) in a cinematic thriller with Devlin and Ed Sheeran in the lead roles.

The new album ‘A Moving Picture’ is already climbing the pre-release charts, a full four months ahead of its release.  Devlin’s ‘The Director’s Cut’ mixtape is currently available as a free download through his website and acts as a tantalizing taster to the new record.

Over the past twelve months, Devlin’s peers’ prose has inadvertently become the heartbeat and voice of a young society, but the door has now swung back open for the return of Britain’s most caustic and wise young voice.
