‘I Don’t Know How To Love Him’
New single available to download July 22nd
Melanie C releases her new single ‘I Don’t Know How To Love Him’, which is available to download July 22nd from her own Red Girl Records.
Taking the iconic song from the 1970 rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar – written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice – and putting her own inimitable stamp on it, this single comes in the wake of Melanie’s role on new ITV talent show Superstar and upcoming arena tour Jesus Christ Superstar which starts September 21st at the O2.
The final episode of Superstar is being aired Wednesday July 25th on ITV at 9pm, where Melanie will be performing a live version of ‘I Don’t Know How To Love Him’, as Mary Magdalene.
Melanie releases her new album ‘Stages’ on September 10th. Produced by Peter-John Vettese at Sphere Studios in London, it boasts twelve classic songs from theatre and film that have been an inspiration in Melanie’s life.
Among the songs featured on the album are ‘Maybe This Time’ – from Cabaret – ‘I Know Him So Well’ feat. Emma Bunton taken from Chess, Joni Mitchell’s ‘Both Sides Now’ and ‘I Just Don’t Know What To Do With Myself’.
Melanie plays Shepherd’s Bush Empire November 6th.
