“It’s like ‘Lucky Star’-era Madonna with a girlbanded-up, post-DJ Fresh production sound, a sensational chorus and a very silly but very fun dubstep gloomwobble breakdown. Basically, it’s brilliant.”
Popjustice

“I love the new sound! That bridge is stunning, and the chorus is incredibly catchy. Parade are carrying the torch for solid UK girlgroup pop.”
Muumuse

After supporting massively successful boyband The Wanted on their UK arena tour earlier this year, Sian, Jessica, Emily, Lauren and Bianca of top 10 girlband Parade are back on the scene with a slice of uplifting power pop set to light up your iTunes library. Described by Popjustice as “brilliant” and Muumuse as “amazing”, ‘Light Me Up’ is a 100% certified pop hit. In other words, worth a listen.

Produced by Tim Powell [Girls Aloud, Sugababes, Paloma Faith] and co-written with the girls, 'Light Me Up' is a forward-thinking pop song that stands apart from the typical chart sounds of 2012 and refuses to leave your brain after the first play.

And to ensure no toes are left untapped the girls are working with choreographer Rhimes Lecointe [Got To Dance’s Boadicea, Streetdance 3D] to create a sensational routine that does justice to the song’s soon-to-be-status as 2012’s Best.

The girls have hand-selected upcoming and established British production and writing talent like Tim Powell [Girls Aloud, Paloma Faith, Sugababes], Ed Drewett [The Wanted], MNEK [Misha B], Rymez [new Wiley track], Jamal Hadaway [Labrinth], K-Gee [All Saints] and Fred Ball [JLS, Pixie Lott] to work on their second album.
