The legendary British band STATUS QUO will celebrate the new cinema release of definitive fly on the wall documentary HELLO QUO! on Monday 22nd October 2012. Directed by Emmy Award nominee Alan G. Parker (Monty Python: Almost the Truth, Who Killed Nancy), HELLO QUO! tells the candid story of Status Quo’s 50 years as a touring and recording rock band, fully supported by the group and featuring input from a host of the biggest names in rock – including: Brian May of Queen, Thin Lizzy, Buzzcocks, Slade, Paul Weller, Sir Cliff Richard and Midge Ure. The documentary exclusively features the moment when the original line up of the band met again for the first time in over 30 years at Shepperton Studios.  A truly poignant reunion, after years of legal wrangling, saw the band not only clear the air but also plug in and play together once again.

STATUS QUO have sold 118 million albums worldwide, recorded 22 Top 10 hits and spent 415 weeks in the UK singles chart.  The band has had more chart hits than any other rock group. Their last album Quid Pro Quo was their 29th studio album and yet another Top 10 hit. HELLO QUO! collects hours of previously unseen footage and classic live material with full exclusive access to all band members.
On Monday 22nd October the band will make an appearance at a special one night only screening of HELLO QUO! in London’s Leicester Square and will conduct a one-off  Q&A.

The DVD, Blu-ray and Collectors Edition DVD of HELLO QUO! will go on sale 29th October.
