Rod Stewart said: "I cannot wait to get back on the road again especially in the UK where the fans always make it a very special occasion for me. The June tour is going to be fantastic!"
The announcement of the tour caps an extraordinary year for Rod Stewart. His book ‘Rod – The Autobiography’, released last month saw him take a candid and romping look back at his life both on and off the stage.  From his humble British roots – to his hell-raising years touring with the trailblazing bands ‘The Jeff Beck Group’  and ‘The Faces’, not forgetting his great loves (including three marriages and eight children) and decades touring the world as a solo performer, Stewart’s book is a riveting ride through one of Rock’s most remarkable lives.

Coinciding with the announcement of his tour, this month also sees the release of his first ever Christmas album 'Merry Christmas, Baby' released today through Verve Music Group. 'Merry Christmas, Baby' sees Rod Stewart joined by a number of A-list guests, starting with Michael Bublé, who duets with Rod on “Winter Wonderland.” “We Three Kings” is a duet with Mary J. Blige; and the title tune “Merry Christmas, Baby” is a duet with Cee-Lo Green featuring New Orleans’ favorite son, Trombone Shorty. “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!” features Dave Koz on saxophone and “What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?” is a very special ‘virtual’ duet with Ella Fitzgerald featuring Chris Botti. The album also includes other Christmas classics such as “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas,” “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town,” and Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas”.

Performing all his hits and most recognisable tracks including ‘Da Ya Think I’m Sexy’, ‘Maggie May’, ‘Baby Jane’ and ‘The First Cut is the Deepest’, Rod Stewart’s summer shows are set to raise temperatures across the country. With a career now in its fifth decade, Stewart has sold over 100 million records worldwide with six consecutive number one albums, 62 hit singles including 31 top 10s and six number 1s. Stewart has also been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on two occasions, once as a solo artist and once as a member of Faces.
