RELEASES 250,000 NEW TICKETS
RE-OPENS AT THE SAVOY THEATRE THIS WEEK
FIRST PERFORMANCE ON FRIDAY 1 FEBRUARY 2013
BOOKING UNTIL SATURDAY 5 OCTOBER 2013
FOLLOWING HIT 18-WEEK RUN AT THE PRINCE OF WALES THEATRE

LET IT BE, the spectacular West End show celebrating the music of The Beatles has released 250,000 new tickets ahead of its re-opening at the Savoy Theatre in London’s West End on Friday 1 February 2013, following a hugely successful run at the Prince of Wales Theatre. LET IT BE is currently booking until 5th October 2013.

The show has established itself as one of the West End’s most popular shows since it premiered in September 2012.

LET IT BE showcases the music of the world’s most successful rock’n’roll band, in a spectacular theatrical concert charting the band’s meteoric rise from their humble beginnings in Liverpool’s Cavern Club, through the height of Beatlemania, to their later studio masterpieces. It is the first time that the Grand Theatrical Rights to The Beatles’ back catalogue have been granted by Sony/ATV for a West End production.

The show is packed with forty of The Beatles’ greatest hits including: I Wanna Hold Your Hand, Hard Day’s Night, Day Tripper, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, Strawberry Fields, When I’m 64, Get Back and many more.

The company of LET IT BE was put together by producers following an international talent search, including open auditions at the famous Cavern Club in Liverpool. Hopeful musicians from all over the UK, and beyond, were auditioned, with only the very best being invited to join the company.
The cast announced their arrival in the West End by playing an impromptu gig including hits Twist and Shout, Hard Day’s Night and, of course, Let It Be, to an invited audience at the Vista rooftop bar at The Trafalgar Hotel, against London’s iconic skyline.

There are two casts performing in the show, alternating from night to night. The current company is comprised of: Emanuele Angeletti, John Brosnan, Gordon Elsmore, James Fox, Michael Gagliano, Reuven Gershon, Stephen Hill and Phil Martin. Each band is joined for several songs by either Ryan Alex Farmery or Michael Bramwell on keyboards.
