Glasgow says G'Day mate to Jason Donovan!

Glasgow's getting ready to say g'day to Jason Donovan in the role of Tick for the Glasgow dates (except Monday 24th June) of the international smash hit musical Priscilla Queen of the Desert. Based on the smash-hit movie of the same name, Priscilla is the heart-warming, uplifting adventure of three friends who hop aboard a battered old bus searching for love and friendship and end up finding more than they could have ever dreamed of.

With a dazzling array of outrageous costumes and a hit parade of dancefloor favorites including ‘It’s Raining Men’, ‘Say a Little Prayer’, ‘Go West’, ‘Hot Stuff’ and ‘Always on My Mind’, this wildly fresh and funny new musical is a journey to the heart of FABULOUS!

Jason played the role of Tick when the show originally opened in the West End. He has had a hugely successful and varied career as both an actor and world-wide recording artist, selling over 13 million albums to date.

Priscilla Queen of the Desert also stars Richard Grieve as Bernadette. Richard previously played the part of Tick in the West End production of the show and is probably best known as Jonny Foster in “Emmerdale”. A native Australian, he played Sam Kratz in “Neighbours” and Dr Lachlan Frazer in “Home and Away”. Graham Weaver plays Felicia, which he played in the West End production of the show. His other theatre credits include Mary Sunshine in “Chicago” and “Assassins”.
