RICKY GERVAIS joins YouTube's Comedy week line up May 20-25

as part of YouTube’s First Ever Comedy Week


London, UK (May 13, 2013):  Today YouTube and Ricky Gervais announced that he will launch a new internet series “Learn Guitar with David Brent” on his YouTube channel (youtube.com/rickygervais) as part of YouTube’s first ever Comedy Week.

Off the back of the worldwide hit 'Equality Street', Brent capitalises on his long-awaited pop fame and invites us into his home to learn more about the man, the myth, the legend, his inspirations, his song writing tips, his wisdom and philosophies on life, and the first the glimpse of a new albums worth of material. The first episode will go live as part of YouTube's Comedy Week. The exclusive trailer can be viewed here:

YouTube’s Comedy Week is a special event from May 20 through May 25, that will showcase the best of comedy on YouTube. An all star line up that includes Vince Vaughn, David Mitchell, Jamie Oliver, Seth Rogen, Midnight Beast, Tomska, Danisnotonfire, and many others, will create a one of a kind experience with a week of dedicated programming that includes new episodes from some of the UK’s most popular YouTube comedy channels, curated top ten lists from well-known comedy stars and more.
