For a strictly limited Christmas holiday run, Dan and Jeff bring the Olivier-nominated Potted Panto back to the Vaudeville this December for its third West End season. The show sees the creators of sell-out, international touring phenomenon Potted Potter cram all the classic pantos into one incredible show – that’s seven pantomimes in just eighty minutes!

Like a fine Christmas gravy, Dan and Jeff have seasoned, simmered and reduced the best ingredients of the nation’s favourite festive shows into a neatly gift-wrapped package. They career through Cinderella in 3D including the first ever Fairy-Godchicken. They dazzle with Dick Whittington featuring Jeff as the Mayor of London: blond, posh and receiving just the treatment he deserves (with a mallet and a custard pie).

An astonishing new take on Jeff’s favourite panto Aladdin gives the story a whole new twist, and Daisy the Cow from Jack and The Beanstalk gives a heart-rending turn as she’s led to market. Not to mention the full-scale versions of Snow White and Sleeping Beauty which see Dan and Jeff trying to work out not only how two people can play seven dwarves, but also which of them will make the prettiest princess. From conventions and costume to heroes and villains, the dastardly double act explore all the elements of the art form we both love and loathe as a nation.

Potted Panto premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2010, proving Christmas couldn’t come soon enough for the sell-out crowds and winning widespread acclaim before going on to play two consecutive West End seasons. Now best-known as CBBC presenters, Dan and Jeff have been bringing the best in family entertainment to London, the nation and Edinburgh Fringe since 2006.  Their first show Potted Potter played five sold-out Fringe seasons in Edinburgh, six sold-out London runs and extensive U.K. and international tours prior to its critically-acclaimed US Premiere at the Little Shubert Theatre in New York City in 2012. They have recently been nominated for two Olivier Awards; Best Entertainment and Family Show for Potted Potter’s 2011 run at the Garrick and Best Entertainment Show for Potted Panto at the Vaudeville in 2010.

This spectacular, silly and splendid show celebrates a truly great British theatre tradition. It also offers seven classic stories for the price of one – a bargain busting evening to beat the Christmas crunch!
