Following his critically-acclaimed eight-part series, broadcast in May this year, John Bishop is set to return to BBC One with a Christmas Special in December 2015.

The one-hour programme, 'The John Bishop Christmas Show', will feature the biggest names from the worlds of comedy and music – all hand-picked by John.  Guests include singing sensations Kylie Minogue, Jess Glynne and Olly Murs, together with hilarious comedians Sarah Millican and Danny Bhoy.  The special, which is a guaranteed hour of roaring festive entertainment and laughter, was recorded at the Lyceum Theatre, in the heart of London's West End.

This will be John's third BBC One Christmas show. The 2014 special was watched by over 4.75 million viewers – making it the most watched stand-up show on TV during 2014.

John said; "I can't wait to bring back the show to BBC One for a Christmas special. It will be filled with buckets of festive fun for all the family, some of the most exciting guests in music and comedy and my best show opening yet!”
