BGT's JONATHAN AND CHARLOTTE announce new album 'Perhaps Love' out October 14th

After a phenomenal year cementing Jonathan and Charlotte as our nation’s classical sweethearts – they have signed a multi-album deal with the prestigious Sony Classical label for their second album ‘Perhaps Love’ released October 14^th. Produced by Nick Patrick (Katherine Jenkins; Russell Watson; Blake).

Jonathan and Charlotte, two of the most memorable young performers from 2012 Britain’s Got Talent, have reinvented and reinterpreted everything on their new album from Placido Domingo/John Denver duet Perhaps Love to Diana Ross and Lionel Richie’s Endless Love.

There are solos - two of which are Charlotte's rendition of Roxette's It Must Have Been Love and Jonathan’s O Sole Mio - and then there are the unlikely, imaginative ones: a stripped bare interpretation of the Candi Staton (and, more recently, Florence and the Machine) classic, You've Got the Love, Sarah McLaughlin's In the Arms of an Angel, and Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova's Falling Slowly from the film, and now smash musical, Once.

“With our second album ‘ Perhaps Love’ we wanted to extend and progress," Charlotte says. "And we've been lucky, because no one has ever told us what to do. We always had a very clear musical vision." With classical crossover, Jonathan suggests there is so much you can do. "It’s limitless, it really is. You can do anything, take any song and make it your own. And that's what we've tried to do here."

And everything here is brought to Cinemascope life by two of the most remarkable voices in modern music. To listen to them in full flight is quite something.

But right now it's Jonathan & Charlotte, together. And it is together that they have so much more to achieve. They have only just begun...
