THE KIXX To Release New Single "Breathless" on November 6th

THE KIXX
release new single
'Breathless'
November 6th

THE KIXX have melted the hearts of teenage girls nationwide supporting the likes of JLS and Olly Murs - but then what would you expect from four utter heartthrobs? - and that trend is set to continue with the release of new single ‘Breathless’ on November 6th.

A modern band for a modern girl, The Kixx - David, Robbie, Jack and Dave (all aged 19-21) - have all the hallmarks of a classic British pop band: they play all their own instruments, write all their own songs and share the lead vocals for their brand of high school electro guitar-pop.  But this isn’t some superficial pop-up band put together by some shady Svengali but four guys who grew up close to each other in Reading, Berkshire, and have spent years developing their craft and are serious about what they do.

Their new single ‘Breathless’ does what it says on the tin. It will take your breath away and is a heartfelt tribute to their friend who died serving for the British Army in the Afghan War. If their live show is anything to go by, the latest release from the boys has already proved to be a fan favourite, with the track evoking the gentle sway of lighters and mobile phones over a genuinely Breathless crowd at all of their recent shows.

And while they might have only just begun unleashing their tunes, they have already picked up almost 30,000 friends on Facebook since their first release ‘Already Gone’ in June on the back of completing a mammoth 31 date, sold-out UK tour supporting Olly Murs. The guys were then handpicked by JLS to join them on their huge arena and stadium dates over the summer to perform in front of more than 150,000 people.

You might think they would be super busy enough with all that, but backed by Mike Peden (the man behind hits for the likes of Will Young and Shakira), they have been zipping between London and New York working with top producer Jack Daley (Lenny Kravitz, Michael Jackson, Jay-Z) to finish off the tracks.

After the overwhelming success of their first headline show in London earlier this month, the boys have announced that they will be travelling around the UK for a series of regional headline shows.
