TWIN ATLANTIC Announce New Single - Catch Them On UK Tour In The Next Few Weeks
TWIN ATLANTIC
The “Free-ze” Tour hits the UK this November
2011 has been a spectacular year for Twin Atlantic. With a UK Top 40 album debut, the quartet’s meteoric rise to the forefront of UK rock is an amazing story. In the last six months, Twin Atlantic have out-sold all of their contemporaries in the UK rock scene and rocked crowds all over the UK and Europe. The band are now about to head out on one of the hottest rock tours of the USA with AWOLNATION and Middle Class Rut.
Frontman Sam McTrusty says: “It's great to be heading back to America to play some shows. We really enjoy touring there and the general feeling that you are on some big adventure takes our band to a higher level. Things have been going really well in the States and this is the first time we are getting to play songs from "Free" to our American rockers.”
On December 19th, Twin Atlantic unleash their new single “Free” to the musical masses. A huge rock record with killer riffs and a soaring chorus, ‘Free’ is a contender for rock song of the year from one of the year’s strongest debut albums.
Twin Atlantic have had incredible support from XFM, Kerrang! Radio and BBC Radio 1 who included the band in a documentary called “The Next Big Thing” which also included We Are The Ocean and Lower Than Atlantis. You can listen again <http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b013lll5>
After rocking American shores Twin head back to the UK for The Free-ze Tour:
Sam Mctrusty: “This UK tour will be our best. We've been working for 4 years to be able to put on a show like this. The support we've had so far with "Free" from our fans... new and faithful... has been exceptional so we feel like we have something to prove to you guys! We are on a mission to show that music can be both meaningful and fun, that's what this tour is all about.”
