After last year’s success of Fame – The Musical Stage Experience is back at The Regent Theatre for 2012. With a brand new creative team and show Footloose; this year’s Stage Experience is not to be missed!
Stage Experience is an exciting two week intensive project which takes place in August 2012. It gives all budding actors, singers and dancers the chance to experience what it is like to be part of a professionally run production. The cast/crew have just two weeks to put the show together, from rehearsing everyday, building the set, sourcing the props and making the costumes! All stage experience applicants will work with a professional production team and get to perform on The Regent Theatre stage in front of an audience in four performances.
From Broadway to the West End, Footloose is an 80’s dance musical set in the small farming town of Bomont. It’s shaken up when city boy Ren McCormack breaks the carefully monitored town laws, falls in love and brings dance back to life. A high energy musical with classic 80’s hit songs such as Footloose, Holding out for a Hero and Lets hear it for the boys.

The ages above are for the age you will be in August. So if you are 15 now, but will be 16 on 6th August, please come along on to the 5th May.
