Get your laughing gear around the King’s this September with some of the top names in Comedy this side of Edinburgh!

It’s not all about Edinburgh! The King’s Theatre is having a mini comedy festival all of its own this September with four cracking comedians – one of which is stepping out of stand-up ‘retirement’!

In Fully Functional, Jim Jefferies once again challenges our beliefs and routine behaviour. Always surprising and controversial Jim is best known his living-on-the-edge, true life stories in which he usually has good intentions wrapped up in deviant behaviour – from a threesome he had in Montreal to God at a party and meeting Neil Finn at a Q Magazine Awards.

Following several sell-out UK tours and best-selling stand-up DVDs, the Welsh wonder, Rhod Gilbert, is back with a brand new live show. His stand-up rants on life's minor irritations are legendary, but this year, he's a more mellow fellow altogether. He's now so laid-back he even let someone tattoo a Battenberg on him. Could it be the Mr Angry of comedy as you’ve never seen him before?

Jason Byrne returns with People’s Puppeteer featuring new stories, new props, and the star of every show that Jason performs: the audience. The biggest selling comedian at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival, his inspired, original brand of high-energy intelligent lunacy ensures that there is no other comedian like him.
Catch Jack Dee as he hits the road for his 2012 tour. After a six year absence from stand-up, he’s back, agonising over the slightest of annoyances and misdemeanours. Why is he touring again...? “I want to spend less time with my family”, says Jack!
