“Britain’s biggest new band” Q

“one of this year’s biggest breakouts” Billboard

The 1975 have announced details of their largest European tour to date. Opening in Paris on 3rd October, the art-pop quartet from Manchester will play eighteen dates across France, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Norway, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland and Italy. Tickets for the October shows will be available on Wednesday 18th June via the band’s official website –

Following a triumphant start to 2014 with three sold-out nights at London’s Brixton Academy, The 1975 have spent the last six months on tour, taking in the UK and Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, mainland Europe and North America. Having played over 400 global shows in the last 18 months and put in countless miles on the road, The 1975 have seen crowds grow significantly through 2014. Fuelled by word of mouth buzz, their live shows continue to thrill whilst consistently confounding expectations. The band, a recent US VEVO Lift Artist and MTV Artist to Watch, won the mtvU Breaking Woodie for Best Emerging Artist at this year’s SXSW and have performed on Conan, Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Late Night with Seth Meyers.

A collection of memories, overheard conversations, and snapshots in time, The 1975’s eponymous debut album is a love letter to youth, played out in bold and brash technicolor. Having topped the UK album charts and sold out every headline show to date, The 1975 have cemented their status as Britain’s biggest new band.
