Tash Sultana has announced she will play her biggest UK headline show to date at London’s O2 Brixton Academy on September 20, 2018. The show is the first of many to be announced for 2018.
This week, following a hugely successful sold out North American theatre tour, the 22 year old Melbournian multi-instrumentalist will perform her sensational live show in the UK, at two capacity shows. These dates sold out with no promotion whatsoever:

Quickly becoming known for her extraordinary performances, Tash’s one-woman live shows must be seen to be believed. As the lone performer on stage, Tash creates rich, vibrant and soulful music using a multitude of instruments, her voice, effects pedals and live-looping techniques - with no backing tracks, no laptops and no previously recorded music whatsoever.
The current run of shows, in Europe, Australia and North America, sold out months in advance with absolutely no promo, relying solely on Tash’s legion of online fans and word-of-mouth to sell tickets for substantially sized venues all over the world. Throughout this summer, Tash has performed at multiple festivals in afternoon slots - and ended up drawing bigger crowds than the main evening headline acts.
Tash started her career in much humbler surroundings, busking on the streets of Melbourne aged just 15. Focussing on her music has been key in her survival, as she openly admits battling with a drug problem, and in particular an episode of drug-induced psychosis - which she has now defeated, but speaks openly about.

Her debut ‘Notion’ EP, which she released independently has achieved over 100 million streams to date, and reached #1 on the Australian iTunes chart.
Tash first wrapped her hands wrapped around a guitar at the age of three, and the self taught artist quickly developed her own unique style, which has already drawn comparisons to some of music’s most revered legends. Tash’s vocal shines with a magical quality, she has a natural gift for melody and her virtuosic guitar playing is from another planet. Add to this her ability to play no less than 15 instruments - many of which make an appearance on stage during her sets.
In her native Australia, she is already collecting accolades having been selected as Triple J’s ‘Unearthed Artist of the Year’, plus this year she was Google Play’s #1 artist to watch.
