Charlie Simpson announces six UK dates

Debut single ‘Down Down Down’ impacts May 16^th

Charlie Simpson will follow his debut solo show at London’s Tabernacle (May 10^th) with six regional UK dates.

The Fightstar frontman will bring his acoustic based solo material to Glasgow, Newcastle, Birmingham, Manchester, Portsmouth and Bristol prior to the release of his debut album ‘Young Pilgrim’ on August 15^th.

‘Down Down Down’, Charlie’s multi-textured debut solo single was Fearne Cotton’s Record of the Week on Radio 1 and is now on the station’s b-list. It is available to download from iTunes now, with an impact date of May 16^th.

Produced by Danton Supple (Coldplay, Doves) the track is a harmony flooded alt.ballad inspired in part by Charlie’s love of the Beach Boys, Jackson Browne and Elliott Smith.
