Following the amazing demand for their Wembley Arena show, which went on sale in late May, White Lies have decided to add a trio of regional dates in December.

The band have added shows at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall on December 12th, Manchester Apollo on the 13th and Glasgow Academy on the 15th.

Tickets for the regional shows go on-sale at 9am on Friday 10th June 2011 and will be available via www.whitelies.com/tickets

The last 12 months have seen the band take some significant forward steps, the forthcoming Wembley show being a particular highlight. Last year saw them play U.K and European stadium support slots with Muse and U.S. arena shows alongside Kings Of Leon.

In the first few months of this year the band have played U.S. and U.K. headline tours (including two sold-out nights at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire and a New York Terminal 5 show) and made high-profile Stateside TV appearances on the Late Show with David Letterman and the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

The next three months sees them appear at most of the major Summer festivals and once again play main support on the Kings of Leon U.K. and European stadium tour.

The band release a new single, Holy Ghost, on Monday June 27th 2011 through Fiction Records. The single is a reworked version of the track which features on their 2nd album Ritual, released earlier this year.

Ritual was released in January of this year; the album reached number 3 in the U.K. album charts, charted top 10 in many countries worldwide and made the top 20 in the U.S. i-Tunes chart.
