Review: The Rat Pack Live From Las Vegas (UK Tour) - Richmond Theatre, London

THE RAT PACK
LIVE FROM LAS VEGAS

Monday 13th February 2012: Fresh from a sell-out Christmas season at the Wyndhams in London's West End, The Rat Pack gang have taken to the road, to bring this delightful show to the masses.

This touring version is more or less the same as the hugely successful West End edition, Stephen Triffit is on the road as Frank Sinatra, with great vocals belting out such hits as You Make Me Feel So Young, Come Fly With Me and ending the show with a lovely rendition of My Way.
Mark Adams is also back and again is in fine form as the alcoholically induced Dean Martin and a new addition to the tour is George Long as Sammy Davis Jr. Full of energy, a few dance moves and a great voice catching the charisma and charm as Sammy back in the day, and a lovely version of Mr. Bojangles

Harmonies and backing dancing is supplied from The Burelli Sisters, and Matthew Freeman is yet again MD, making up the fantastic sounding thirteen piece band, the brass section are top of their game, the arrangements sounding sweet and tight.

Another fantastic show from all involved by The Rat Pack crew, well worth seeing, go catch it at a venue near you.

The Rat Pack Live From Las Vegas:
Richmond Theatre until Saturday 18th February.
Aylesbury Waterside - 23rd -25th Feb
Bromley Churchill Theatre - 27 Feb - 3rd March
