Competition: Win a signed copy of 'Glorious' by LAURA WRIGHT & pair of tickets to London headline show in September

Friday 29th June saw soprano singing sensation Laura Wright  awarded with the PPL ‘Classic Award’ at the 2012 O2 Silver Clef Awards in aid of music charity Nordoff Robbins. Laura turned a few heads on the evening and was a huge hit with the press after wearing THAT DRESS which was designed by Jasper Conran, and outshone Jessie J on the evening.

Along with Laura's latest album release 'Glorious' getting to the top of the iTunes Classical chart, she features twice on 'Sing', the #1 album from Gary Barlow & The Commonwealth Band. Laura also sang the national anthem at this years FA Cup final, and at this years Soccer Aid event in front of Robbie Williams, Will Ferrell and many more!

Laura says of her O2 Silver Clef award: “I am honoured to be receiving my O2 Silver Clef award and delighted to be able to support Nordoff Robbins and their amazing music therapy work. To have my name alongside such incredible artists who have been a real inspiration to me throughout my life and career: Andrea Bocelli, Katherine Jenkins, Nicola Benedetti, Faryl Smith and Russell Watson. This is a huge privilege and I am delighted to be a part of the O2 Silver Clef Awards, helping such an incredible charity.”

The list of attendees for the O2 Silver Clef was as impressive as ever with Jessie J, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Emeli Sande, Conor Maynard, Tinie Tempah, Tom Jones, Michael Buble, Laura Wright, Fatboy Slim and Manic Street Preachers.
