In just one week Hit Factory Live, one of the most eagerly awaited music events in 2012, will transform London’s Hyde Park on July 11 into a massive party featuring some of the most successful pop music of all time.  The classic artists from the PWL Hit Factory will perform on the same bill for the very first time. Gates open at 3.30pm with the first act of this spectacular night hitting the stage at 5pm sharp. Fans must arrive early to ensure they don’t miss any of the sensational acts.

Hit Factory Live will explode onto the Hyde Park stage at 5pm prompt.  Part one of this pop extravaganza delivers hit after hit from a stable of talent that includes 2 Unlimited, Lonnie Gordon, Rachel McFarlane, Hazell Dean, Brother Beyond, Sybil, Pepsi & Shirlie, Sonia, Sinitta, Princess, and Dead or Alive.

Serving up multiple hits from some of Hit Factory’s most successful acts, part two opens with Rick Astley and also features Bananarama and Jason Donovan all will be bringing their unforgettable hits to the stage.

Bringing the show to a spectacular close will be Steps. This specially designed one hour set will see the multi-million selling group dispense every hit of their incredible career. From ‘5,6,7,8’ to ‘Tragedy’, ‘One For Sorrow’ to ‘Deeper Shade Of Blue’, this will be a show not to be missed.

There will be many surprises throughout the show, plus a very special duet between Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan which has not been performed for 23 years!

Pete Waterman and Michaela Strachan who had huge success presenting The Hit Man and Her in the late eighties and early nineties have already been confirmed as presenters of Hit Factory Live. Live Nation can now confirm that Pat and Mick (DJ’s Mick Brown and Pat Sharpe) and Gaby Roslin have also been added to the presenting line-up.

The unmissable show celebrates the legendary Stock Aitken Waterman songwriting and production team, the phenomenal success of Pete Waterman’s PWL label and, above all, the irresistible pop that came to define an era in British music history. Once called ‘The Sound of a Bright Young Britain’, it undoubtedly now stands as the soundtrack to a generation, with sales of over 500 million units worldwide.

A proportion of proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Cancer Research UK. As a cause that is close to everyone’s hearts, Live Nation are proud supporters of Cancer Research UK and their life saving work.
