Michael McIntyre’s spot on observational comedy and trademark ability to turn everyday situations into master-classes of human exasperation have struck chords with millions of fans, resolutely cementing him as one of the UK’s most loved and treasured comedy performers today.

Michael has previously released two best-selling DVDs; 2008’s Live and Laughing, which currently holds the top spot as the biggest selling UK debut stand-up DVD and Hello Wembley, which in 2009 became the fastest selling UK stand-up DVD of all time. Live & Laughing and Hello Wembley have sold a staggering combined total of 2,500,000 + copies to date.

The past two years have been particularly exceptional for Michael. Most recent highlights include a 2012 National TV  Award for Best Entertainment Programme for his BBC1 series Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, plus his 2011 Christmas Day BBC1 Comedy Roadshow special was watched by 7 million + viewers, making it one of the highest rated TV shows over the festive season.  

Other highlights include; writing his first autobiography - the number one best-selling Life & Laughing, hosting the 2010 Royal Variety Performance in front of HRH Prince Charles, joining the judging panel alongside Amanda Holden and David Hasslehoff on one of the biggest show’s on TV – Britain’s Got Talent (ITV1), a 54 date sell out arena tour in 2009 where Michael played to over 500,000 people (including six nights at Wembley Arena, plus four at the O2 Arena), a 2010 British Comedy Award for Best Male TV Comic, a 2009 British Comedy Award for Best Live Stand-up Performer, plus two nominations for Best Comedy Entertainment Personality and Best Comedy Entertainment Programme for Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow.
