Amongst Ovation’s creative team will be NIGEL PLASKITT who, as well as working on Spitting Image, was Puppet Coach for Cameron Mackintosh’s West End production of Avenue Q and the UK Tour. He is currently working on the Muppets...Again... the next Muppet movie for The Walt Disney Company.
Joining director JOHN PLEWS are choreographer GRANT MURPHY (Crazy For You – Upstairs at the Gatehouse, Shrek, Mary Poppins & Sister Act); Musical Supervisor ANGHARAD SANDERS (Steel Pier, Union); and Musical Director SIMON BURROW (Crazy For You – Upstairs at the Gatehouse). Associate Director is SIMON LIPKIN currently playing Lonny in Rock of Ages in the West End. Simon was in the original London cast of Avenue Q playing Nicky and Trekkie Monster. Avenue Q is being designed by SUZI LOMBARDELLI (Crazy For You – Upstairs at the Gatehouse) and the puppets are being created by PAUL JOMAIN who has worked for Jim Henson, Cameron Mackintosh and Disney.
In charge of lighting is AARON J DOOTSON and sound is being designed by JON RAPER.
The show has been cast by RI MCDAID-WREN.
The Avenue Q cast are: Katie Bradley, Shin-Fei Chen, Tim Frost, Will Jennings, Cassandra Lee, Leigh Lothian, Harrison Spiers and Josh Wilmott.
