JOE PASQUALE joins the UK Tour of HA HA HOLMES! THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES
JOE PASQUALE JOINS THE CAST OF HA HA HOLMES!
There’s a beast on the moors, a crime to be solved, and with the Ha Ha team on the case – what can go right?!
Produced by Jamie Wilson Productions, HA HA HOLMES! THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES was a big hit in the UK in 2011, gaining rave reviews all over the country. This brand new production will premiere at Chelmsford’s Civic Theatre on Monday 2 September and will tour nationwide in theatres around the UK through 17 November 2013.
Joe Pasquale’s Sherlock Holmes will undoubtedly bring chaos to the proceedings when Holmes and Watson investigate their most dangerous case yet – hunting down THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES. With writer Ben Langley as Doctor Watson and Andrew Fettes playing everyone else, this sure-fire, wonderfully ridiculous show, is well worth an investigation.
Has the beast bitten off more than he can chew when confronted by our crime stopping team? Will Holmes find his deerstalker and will the deer be happy when he does? Stick some shag in your pipe and visit 221b Baker Street for the most gripping comic caper of the age!
Joe Pasquale whose West End theatrical debut in Spamalot was recently confirmed and which adds another dimension to his multi-faceted career, has also starred in touring productions of The Nerd, Tom Stoppard’s Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Wizard of Oz, and most recently last year’s Doctor in the House with Robert Powell.
Swapping spandex for Sherlock’s famous deerstalker Joe also recently tested his skills on the ice rink in ITV’s Dancing on Ice having previously captured the nation’s hearts to be crowned celebrity King of the Jungle in 2004’s I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here. Our high achieving hero and action man is a trained pilot, charity marathon runner, Geoscience degree studier and all round good egg.
Writer Ben Langley has worked in London's Covent Garden as a street performer for the last seventeen years; he won The Bristol Harbour Festival Street Performer of the Year award performing his one man show and has supported Paul Zerdin on his Sponge Fest tour. Andrew Fettes is, along with Ben, co-founder of the Ha Ha Boys comedy team, writing and touring the Ha Ha series of theatre shows since 2007. Carole Todd (Dreamboats and Petticoats, Soul Sister, Hello Dolly!) is Assistant Director and Choreographer and Griff Johnson is Composer and Musical Supervisor.
Sherlock Holmes has never been more popular with the current crop of films and television series honouring the tradition and you’d be absolutely barking mad to miss this pipe-smoking new interpretation of the most popular of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s novels from theatre’s funniest parodists!
