Ashleigh Gray, Rebecca Trehearn, and more bring DIVAS UNSUNG to Leicester Square Theatre on 22nd September

Following their hugely successful, sell out, cabaret shows "ALW:Unsung" & "Billy Joel:Unsung" Songs Unsung present in the heart of the West End Divas Unsung, a celebration of the musical theatre institution that we have lovingly come to term the “Diva”.
Focusing on the best leading lady showstoppers that may have been forgotten by even the most die-hard fans, it should be a treat for lovers of Musical Theatre and novices alike! After a lengthy rummage through shows from West End and Broadway history the creative team under the musical direction of James Doughty have turned up some real gems and will showcase blockbuster numbers from all- but- forgotten shows Including music by Boy George, Charles Strouse, Dempsey and Rowe, Elton John, Bernie Taupin, Kander and Ebb, Lionel Bart, Marvin Hamlisch, Stiles and Drew, Tony Hatch & Jackie Trent amongst many others.
Divas Unsung will feature some of the strongest leading ladies from the West End including: Ashleigh Gray (Wicked), Rebecca Trehearn (Ghost – The Musical), Sarah French (We Will Rock You), Kirby Lunn (Hairspray), Jennifer Potts (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat), and Ambra Caserotti (RENT!) – they will be joined by a choir of the freshest talent from the Musical Theatre Academy (MTA). James Barron whose theatre credits include, Javert in Les Misérables and all three dads in Mamma Mia will host the evening’s proceedings.
Musicals may come and musicals may go, some are remembered forever, others forgotten overnight but they all need one thing… A Diva!
