Thursday 24th October 2013: I first saw Thriller Live back in 2010 and since then the show has been on several world tours and gained a huge fan base. And I'm back again celebrating their 2000th show in the West End at the Lyric Theatre.

Thriller Live isn't like the other west end shows, in the sense that it doesn't have a story, instead it goes through the musical life of Michael Jackson starting from his days in Jackson 5 to the albums Bad and Thriller. This isn't by any means a show where people sing songs 'karaoke style', it is an entertaining show, where each song tells a story. It's hard to cover Michael Jackson, but the cast of Thriller Live make it look easy.

Performing many of the classics, from Off The Wall, Smooth Criminal, Black and White, and so many more, I really enjoyed 'I'll Be There', I absolutely love Zoe Birkett; one of the lead vocalists, her voice is outstanding and she has perfected Michael Jackson's mannerisms and quirks.

Mini Michael Jackson on the night was played by Eshan Gopal, an adorable little kid with a great voice, and has the dance moves to match. David Jordan who plays the adult Michael Jackson with his effortless dance moves could be Michael Jackson's twin brother, he makes the show extra special.

A special mention has to go to all the dancers who make the show what it is, the lead singers provide the vocals, but if both of these elements didn't work, then the show wouldn't be as good as it. The theatre was filled with great music, happy people and an all round great atmosphere.

Lead male singer Britt Quentin mentioned that they have seen a lot of shows in the area come and go, but I have a feeling we will definitely be hearing about Thriller Live 3000th show. If you haven't seen the show yet, I suggest you book a ticket and see it.
