Edinburgh Playhouse's Fringe line up is on sale now!

After huge success in 2014, the Edinburgh Playhouse is expanding its programme of shows with a diverse mix of new talent and big name acts in comedy, cabaret, music, theatre and dance.

Forth on the Fringe returns for its eighth year with some of the biggest names in entertainment hosted by Forth One’s breakfast show hosts Boogie and Arlene. They're celebrating the Gilded Balloon 30thAnniversary with a huge comedy gig hosted by Adam Hills and Fred MacAulay. Other guests include Johnny Vegas, Jason Byrne and a rare appearance from Greg McHugh as Gary Tank Commander.

BBC Radio’s I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue comes to Edinburgh for a special one-off performance with Barry Cryer, Graeme Garden, Tim Brooke-Taylor, Jeremy Hardy and host Jack Dee, and Jim Davidson returns to the Fringe with his brand new show, No Further Action. The Playhouse are also delighted to welcome back the Waverly Care Comedy Gala following its sell out show last year.

In dance, they're welcoming a young troupe of Chinese performers in Oriental FairyTales - Wild Zebra. The show, created by Zhang Jigang, deputy director and choreographer of the opening and closing ceremonies for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, is sure to be one of the must-see dance shows of the Fringe.

As well as the events on the main stage, this year the Playhouse have programmed more shows into their recently refurbished piano bar The Boards boasting a variety of local and international talent.
