TAKING BACK SUNDAY reschedule majority of upcoming UK tour
Forced to reschedule the majority of their upcoming UK tour
Taking Back Sunday have been forced to reschedule the majority of their UK tour that was due to commence next week due to unavoidable scheduling conflict which has severely limited the time that they can spend on these shores.
The band’s show at London’s Roundhouse is still set for May 20th as originally planned, while the Nottingham Rock City show moves from May 14th to May 19th. All other shows are rescheduled for August/September and are listed below. Tickets for the delayed shows will remain valid for the new dates.
“We are terribly sorry to have to reschedule some of these dates as we are always so thankful for the support over in the UK. We promise to give you the best shows we have in us when we are there.”
Taking Back Sunday’s shows at the Leeds and Reading festivals (August 26th and 28th) are unaffected. Also due to scheduling conflicts the Liverpool show has been cancelled, all tickets for this show are now valid for the Manchester show, or refunds at point of purchase.
The band’s upcoming self-titled fifth album will be released on June 27th on Warner Bros. Records. The album was produced by Eric Valentine (Queens of the Stone Age,Lostprophets) who also helmed Taking Back Sunday’s ‘Louder Now’ album which topped Kerrang!’s 2006 Album of the Year poll. Writing for the album commenced at theSonic Ranch, a studio based in a pecan ranch in El Paso, Texas shortly after the five members reunited last year and continued at Robert Lang Studios in Seattle, while the recording took place at Barefoot Recording in Hollywood.
