Cantina
Priceless London Wonderground
Southbank Centre London
Stunningly mesmerising... One of the must-see shows in London this summer ✭✭✭✭✭
Friday 15th June 2012: An amazing show of acrobatic skill, dancing and live music is something not to be missed in the Spiegeltent at Priceless London Wonderground, part of the Udderbelly Festival Southbank London.
Daredevil tightrope walking, including walking on the wire just in stilettos (Chelsea McGuffin), naked men doing torn and restored newspaper magic trick, hanging from the rafters spinning by your neck (Mozes), walking on the top of champagne bottles, walking on broken glass, and a very very flexible woman (Henna Kaikula) who can turn her body parts in the most cracking of ways.
Cantina has it all, and it is stunningly mesmerising. Executed beautifully, with hazy lighting and a vaudeville soundtrack accompaniment, headed by ukelele playing Nara Demasson.
Simply jaw-dropping to watch, sexy, sassy, vivacious - I'm running out of superlatives for this show.
One of the must-see shows in London this summer. Grab a ticket now!
