Introducing new musician SCOTT ANSON

SCOTT ANSON


Scott Anson is a singer/songwriter who hails from the city of Sheffield.

Scott has been working as a solo artist for several years, writing, recording and performing. Most recently Scott has collaborated with Eliot Kennedy one of the music industries most respected songwriter/producers to create a fresh, new sound. Recorded at the Steelwork’s Studios in Sheffield, Scott’s debut album, ‘Angels of my better nature’ is the cumulation of this partnership.

“It has been one of the most intense yet rewarding experiences of my life. I can’t begin to describe how excited I am about the new music” Scott Anson 2010.

Scott would always say that he developed his love of music from his parents, one a professional singer, the other a session guitarist. He also developed a love of the dramatic arts at a young age becoming a member of the Sheffield Youth Theatre then studying acting at Italia Conti, London.
After graduation he went on to perform in the West End in Canterbury Tales, followed by Miss Saigon, playing the role of Chris-American GI His next roles were 'The Narrator' in Blood Brothers and Peter in Jesus Christ Superstar. Scott also toured Asia with Miss Saigon.



Scott has also worked extensively in the TV and film industry. In 2009 he appeared in the film, 'Last Chance Harvey' opposite Dustin Hoffman. Scott has also appeared in several TV commercials for some major global brands.
