present 2012 Anne Boleyn Tour

Shakespeare’s Globe and English Touring Theatre (ETT) are about to embark on a nine week UK tour with the award-winning production of Anne Boleyn starting Thursday 15 March 2012 at Cambridge Arts Theatre.

This producing partnership will give regional audiences in England a chance to see the sell out show which wowed audiences in 2010 and in 2011. Winner of the 2011 Whatsonstage Award for Best New Play, Anne Boleyn is directed by John Dove with Jo Herbert as Anne Boleyn, James Garnon as King James, David Sturzaker as Henry VIII and Colin Hurley as Cardinal Wolsey. 

English Touring Theatre is one of the UK’s foremost theatre companies and most successful touring company in England; with productions playing to over 48,000 people in 2011, in a year when it was awarded Producer of the Year by The Stage Newspaper. ETT really is a powerhouse of touring theatre, working with a rich mix of the country’s leading and emerging artists to stage innovative and ambitious theatre that is vigorous, popular and entertaining.
