Inspired by the life of Nina Simone, Black
Is The Color Of My Voice follows a
successful jazz singer and civil rights activist seeking redemption after the
untimely death of her father. She reflects on the journey that took her from a
young piano prodigy destined for a life in the service of the church, to a
renowned jazz vocalist at the forefront of the Civil Rights Movement.

Chaplin: The Charlie Chaplin Story - Thursday 30 June
A heart-warming and powerful
story told through the eyes of a young boy on his journey through the dark
streets of Victorian Vaudeville London to the glitz of early Hollywood. This
story follows Chaplin through his early career, showbiz ambitions
and often-fractious relationship with his mother, family and his
first love.
The cast includes Steven
Arnold, best known as Ashley Peacock in TV’s Coronation Street, Nicole
Faraday (Bad Girls / Emmerdale) as Charlie’s mother Hannah
Chaplin, Helena Gullan (Once, London’s West End)
and also a full cast of talented actor-musicians whose combined experience
includes the following West End shows: Buddy, Dreamboats and
Petticoats, Return To The Forbidden Planet, Jersey Boys and The
Commitments.
The creative team includes the
multi award winning writer Stuart Price and No1 hit single writer Jake Field as
composer. The company Maple Tree Entertainment are responsible for the
smash hit West End show The Simon & Garfunkel Story.

After a sellout UK tour in 2015, Dirty Dusting
returns to the stage in 2016.
Gladys, Elsie and Olive are three
cleaning ladies who are about to be put out to pasture by their overzealous
office manager Dave. Feeling they have little chance of gaining employment
elsewhere, the ladies have to boost their falling income. A chance wrong number
requiring a sex chat line rings into the office and gives them a great idea
-Why not run a Sex Chat Line? After all, their age and appearance won’t matter
on the telephone and providing they can keep this a secret from their boss,
they could be onto a winner! Needless to say, things don’t go entirely
according to plan.

written by Ed Waugh and Trevor Wood, directed by Leah Bell.
